NEW WHIP • Heeler Terry Stratton of Snowflake, Arizona, won the Ram Truck at the Patriot Las Vegas #10.5 40 & Over Truck Roping, taking home $2,005 in addition to the brand new pickup. He won fifth in the average with Steve Dorsett for a time of 41.56 on four and won sixth in the average with Tony Chance with a 41.63 on four. He also won 13th in the average with Brandi Hunter, roping four steers in 44,08 seconds.

OPEN ACTION • Texas’ Shane Philipp and Oklahoma's Brady Norman outlasted the pack in the outdoor Ariat World Series of Team Roping Qualifier on Friday, Dec. 8, winning the average with a time of 32.75 on five head, worth $40,000.

The win came five years after the first time Lorenzo won $350,000 in the #9.5 Finale in 2018, that time on the heels. To date, the Wittman, Arizonan is the only roper in the 17-year history of the Finale to win the same roping on both ends and to have earnings in excess of $375,000.
