      This series intended for early readers teaches various letter combinations. The first pages introduce six rhyming words ( "flag", "crag", "rag" ). The remainder features the words in a story (e.g., "The Sow and the Cow Eat Their Chow") told in short, stilted sentences. The color photos are as awkwardly composed as the text. There are thirty other spring 2003 books in this series. Glos.
