All of the books begin with personalized incidents and stories and then branch out to discuss history, important landmarks, statistics, and the various sides of an issue, all peppered with more individual accounts. The Dreamers and DACA covers many bases, not only what is being done to help (and stop) young immigrants' citizenship, but how visas, green cards, exploitation, crime, and struggling with bias become parts of the immigrant experience. With extensive sidebars and peppered with well-captioned color photographs, each volume endeavors to look at every angle of the issue.
