Julie Bogart's performance has a buoyancy that helps listeners awaken to her inspiring message that education is about more than reading, writing, and arithmetic. With her naturally appealing delivery, she sounds at once youthful and wise--an appealing teacher to learn from and grow with. Attribute some of this accessibility to her neighborly writing. She makes sophisticated points about the healthy approach to life we want children to develop but always comes across as more of a peer than an expert. She says encouraging your child's curiosity instead of force-feeding content will help children nurture their innate strengths and help them face the world with more courage and enthusiasm.
